Handfull Flat-Coated Retriever

Kingsbridge Handfull Of Treats, born January 4, 2016, is named after a character in the powerful historical novel The Invention Of Wings by Sue Monk Kidd.  The character of Handful is a strong, courageous and intelligent black female slave growing up in early nineteenth century Charleston.  I was inspired by her story of hope, heart and courage to dare.

Handfull is the best of her mother Caris and grandmother Tralee.  She is a beautiful Flat-Coated Retriever with correct conformation;  Handfull is a triple champion earning AKC, UKC and IACBA breed championships.  She is clever; passing an American Kennel Club beginner tracking test (TD) at 10 months and earning her Champion Tracker at 3 years. She is an energetic, fun-loving companion, versatile in her learning aptitudes. Handfull is training and showing in agility, hunting, nosework, and obedience.  I’m confident she will continue to shine in all her endeavors.  She loves finding sticks, retrieving balls and swimming.
